Why so many different ideas about the Word of God?
I guess the question should state ‘what is the Word of God?’ Much of the confusion today arises out of the difference in so many books that claim to be the Word of God (Holy Bible). Most Christian’s claim to believe “What the Bible says” yet with so many books claiming to be the Bible, we have nothing but confusion among the different denominations as well as among those of the same church, because they use a different book. Satan was the originator of substituting his words of the Word of God. He has not given up during our generation and he’s still busy trying to confuse those like Eve who will listen to him.
Matthew 4:4 (KJV 1611)
4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
We need to renew our concept of which book is God’s word. While most people will say they believe in the inspiration of the Bible, most won’t go into what they consider the Bible to be. If they are not the same – they are not the same. For instance, the New International Version (NIV) and the New American Standard Bible (NASB) have left out over 64,000 words. If your employer omitted $64.00 from your pay last week, would it matter to you? Jesus said every word. Manu people say they believe the “Original Autographs” were the inspired Word of God and the God left it up to man to do the preservation and translation into the different languages. There is no doubt that the “Original Autographs” were ‘God Breathed’, but do you think a God who could give “Verbal inspiration” in the Original’s would not also miraculously “Preserve” His word for all mankind into the different languages of the world.
Matthew 24:34-35 (KJV 1611)
34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
Jesus even went so far as to say not a jot (the smallest letter) or title ( a tail from a single letter) would change. If this is true, then preservation was not left up to mankind, but promised from and of God.
Psalms 12:6-7 (KJV 1611)
6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
7 Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
In the other pages, we will look at the difference in the translation into the English language as well as the translators, along with why we have so many that say so much that is “NOT THE SAME”.
Why do we have so many different English translations?
Answer: First of all, the answer is not that the translators of the publishers were concerned about the spiritual needs of the English speaking world. If this was NOT the reason, then why would they do it?
Zondervan published the NIV in March 1973. Dewey Lockman sponsored and copyrighted the Amplified New Testament in 1958. Zondervan took it over in 1962, the published the Amplified Bible in 1965. Zondervan has been taken over by Harper San Francisco, a secular publishing house that was bought out by Rupert Mardoch. *The Amplified Bible (to amplify means to expand) has added many words to the Bible for the purpose of copyrighting it. Dr. Frank Logsdon, one of the men who worked on this particular translation, has renounced his part in this work as well as the New American Standard Bible, saying “He was afraid he was in trouble with the Lord”.
The advertisements for the new translation say they are trying to make is easier to understand. It seems to me, rather than a concern about the truth of the Word the purpose is to make money. In the publishing of the New King James Version (NKJV) there was over four million dollars spend in the changes made as well as several million spent on advertisements with a singular purpose, “profit”. If it were a spiritual matter, there are millions of people around the world with no Bible at all, but their problem is, they have no money either.
On the cover of the NKJV, there is an insignia that the publisher Thomas Nelson says represents the Godhead. It is the ancient symbol of The Triquetra. It also is a form on the number 666, which the luciferians (worshippers of Satan) use to represent their god Lucifer.
A comparison between who Jesus is can be easily recognizable by a few verses in the different translations. Remember, the English language has reference to one among many, while the word ‘THE’ refers to a particular one. Many religions today recognize Jesus Christ only to the extent he was like other sons. The KJV places him in the singular position as the only begotten Son of God.

What are some of the different translations and the difference between them?
Answer:
NIV – New International Version
NASB – New American Standard Version
NKJV – New King James Version
NRSV – New Revised Standard Version
RSV – Revised Standard Version
NAB – New Age Bible, etc.
KJV – King James Version
Living Bible
New Jerusalem
New Century
Psalm 138:2 - I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
The first noticeable difference can be seen in the fact that only the KJV is not copyrighted. All the others are copyrighted. The purpose for this is the Owner’s of the copyright must be paid for the use of these. If you reprint or quote more than a certain amount from their versions you must get permission from the holder of the owner’s copyright.
The second has to do with how they were translated and which documents were used for the translation. All came from only two roads.
The KJV, for example, came by the way that is called “Textus Receptius”, “Majority Text” of “Byzantine Text”. All the others use a different starting point; this is why there is a difference in the final product. The others use the “Septuagint” (seventy). Supposedly, the King of Egypt (Ptolemy) in 250 B.C., created a Greek old testament with six Jews from each of the 12 tribes. However, LXX stands for 70 not 72; remember that only the tribe of Levi was permitted by God to write the scriptures.
NOTE:
Any Jew living in Egypt would have to be in disobedience to the command of God. Deuteronomy 17:16 - But he shall not multiply horses to himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt, to the end that he should multiply horses: forasmuch as the LORD hath said unto you, Ye shall henceforth return no more that way.
Jesus never quoted from the Septuagint “Origins”. The KJV is the Alexandria Manuscripts, but the Greek is used for all others. The Vatican’s and Sinaiticus disagree with one another over 3,000 times in the gospels alone. Westcott and Hort could only pick out what they liked. These men and manuscripts are the basis for all the new translations. This doesn’t seem like a better word to me.
Who are some of the different translators and the difference between them?
1 Timothy 4:1-2
1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
Answer: The complete NIV translators can be obtained from the International Bible Society, East Brunswick, NJ 08816 but we will touch on a few of the people and the beliefs in the answer. Dr. Logsdon, one of the translators one the NASB has publicly apologized for his part in corrupting God’s Word. Another member of the committee, Dr. Virginia Mollenkott has made a public disclosure of her homosexuality and her goddess worship theology, use of tarot cards, and the I Ching.
Then there is the work of B. F. Westcott and F.J. Hort. Both of these men belonged to a club called “The Ghostly Guild” and were involved in the Spiritism (contact with the dead). They had the final word on the translations of the NIV and NASB. Westcott’s comment about the first three chapters in Genesis -“No one believes the first three chapters in Genesis gives a literal history”. Westcott on the Resurrection – “The resurrection of Christ in only the church which is Christ’s body”, (No bodily resurrection). Westcott on judgment – the wrath refers to unbelieving Israel Riplingers New Age. Hort – Finite sin cannot deserve infinite punishment. Hort – Hell is figurative. Westcott – Hell is not the place of punishment of the guilty. Jehovah Witness – on the idea that the grave is the end of the physical life. A comparison of the changes made will help you see the intended result. NIV, NASB, NKJV, Jehovah Witness, New World Translation.
Revelation 22:19 (KJV 1611)
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Is there a bigger plan behind the new translation?
Answer: The new translations are producing a new Christianity which substitute riches for righteousness, a crown for a cross, and an imitation for a new creation.*The freedom to change what the committee decision will lead to a “Universal Bible” that has been called for by the United Nation assistant secretary General Robert Mullen. Could this be the book that will lead to the Anti-Christ’s one world religion?
The new age religion has a new god, his name is Lucifer.
II Corinthians 4:4 - In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
The new versions of the Bible have omitted the names from its pages.
Isaiah 14:12-15
12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
Page 41 – Riplinger: ”New Age Versions”. The name Lucifer replaced by the term Morning Star in Isaiah 14 (most everyone knows Jesus Christ is associated with the term Morning Star.) The Theosophical Glossary, used as a major reference of dogma by the new age reads: The christian savior is made to say of himself in Revelation 16:22
“I am the bright Morning Star or Lucifer”. Blasphemy, no doubt, but the teaching comes through in the New NIV and NASB translations. * Jesus Christ did not fall from heaven, neither is his destiny hell. The New Version would have us forget both the existence of satan (called Lucifer, Isaiah 14) and also the eternal flame of hell – example: Westcott and Hort assert the devil is not a person but a general “power of evil”.
In Lucifer’s attempt to dethrone Jehovah, he fell from his position in heaven and was cast down to earth. Lucifer is now the roaring lion seeking whom he may devour; he is only changed into an angel of light; he is not the True Light. Jesus Christ is the light of the world and will be the eternal light of that celestial city.
Is the King James Version the only Bible?
Answer: I believe it is God’s word for the English speaking people. We will discuss how we received our King James Version. True spiritual life comes not from programs and high attendance but from the Word of God. Therefore, we need to be sure we have the Sword of the Spirit, not what some men have said. Historically, men like Luther, Calvin, Zwingli, and the Ana-Baptists have stood against changing the Word and refused the Alexandiran Text, the basis for the modern Greek text. While the Great Bible, Geneva Bible, Bishops Bible, King James Bible all use the traditional text which is the “Textus Receptus.”
The antiquity of the King James Version text type is evidenced in Joseph Bosworth’s parallel gospels. It includes the Gothic Version dated 360, Angelo-Saxon between 600-900, Wycliff translation 1381,Tyndale 1526, and King James 1611.
Acts 2:6
6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.
God spoke through a text like the King James Version to the different languages of the world. These are:
German – Telp Bible
Italian – Diodati
Hungarian – Erodsi
Spanish – Valera
Polish – Visoli
Holland – DeGrave
German – Luther
Iceland – Gottshcalkson
All agree with readings of the King James Version. Those 64,000 missing words in the new translations have not been missing in the history of his church. No matter what language they spoke.
