"Why so many different ideas
about the Word of God?"

I guess the question should state what is the word of God? Much of the confusion today arises out of the difference in so many books that claim to be the word of God. [Holy Bible] Most Christian’s claim to believe "What the Bible says" yet with so many books claiming to be the Bible we have nothing but confusion among the different denominations as well as among those of the same church, because they use a different book. Satan was the originator of substituting his words for the word of God. He has not given up during our generation and is still busy trying to confuse those like Eve, who will listen to him.

Matthew 4:4 (KJV 1611)

{Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.}

We need to renew our concept of which book is God’s word. While most people will say they believe in the inspiration of the Bible, most won’t go into what they consider the Bible to be. [If they are not the same – they are not the same] for instance the New International Version (NIV) and New American Standard Bible (NASB) have left out over 64,000 words. If your employer omitted $64.00 from your pay last week, would it matter to you? Jesus said every word. Many people say they believe the "Original Autographs" were the inspired word of God and then God left it up to man to do the preservation and translation into the different languages. There is no doubt that the "Original Autographs" were "God Breathed", but do you think a God who could give "Verbal Inspiration" in the Original’s would not also miraculously "Preserve" His word for all mankind into the different languages of the world.

Matthew 24:35 (KJV1611)

{For verily I say unto you. Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.}

Jesus even went so far as to say not a jot (the smallest letter) or tittle (a tail from a single letter) would change. If this is true then preservation was not left up to mankind, but promised from and of God.

Psalms 12:6-7 (KJV1611)

{The words of the Lord are pure word; as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation forever.}

In the next few paragraphs we will look at the difference in the translation into the English language as well as the translators, along with why we have so many that say so much that is "NOT THE SAME".
