"Who are some of the different translators and
the difference between them?"

1 Timothy 4:1-2

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron.

Answer: The complete N.I.V. translators can be obtained from the International Bible Society, East Brunswick, N.J. 08816, but we will touch on a few of the people and their beliefs in this answer. Dr. Logsdon one of the translators on the N.A.S.B. has publically apoligized for his part in corrupting God’s Word. Another member of the committee, Dr. Virginia Mollenkott has made a public disclosure of her homosexuality and her Godess worship theology, use of tarot cards, and the I Ching.

Then there is the work of B.F. Westcott and FJ. A. Hort. Both of these men belonged to a club called "The Ghostly Guild" and were involved in Spritism (contact with the dead). They had the final word on the translation’s of the N.I.V. and N.A.S.B., Westcotts comment about the first three chapters in Genesis "No one believes the first three chapters in Genesis gives a literal history", Westocott on the Resurrection, "The resurrection of Christ in only the church which is Christ’s body", (No bodily resurrection). Westcott on judgement – the wrath refers to unbelieving Israel Riplingers New Age, Hort – Finite sin cannot deserve infinite punishment.
